Finally getting moved into my new Studio - Office space in Cleveland.  Been a long road to get to this point, but no more coffee shop meetings trying to talk over the goings on at the local Starbucks.  I am working on getting new images up and the place detailed out, but I am off to a good start.  Looking forward to meeting with many new folks in the new gathering place.  (and I’ll serve the Starbucks.)

This takes a little more guts than it looks like… first you have to be willing to let go of the dress… and the tradition that goes with it.  :)  Think of the possibilities….  Lets plan your Bridal shoot soon.

Paula and Heath’s big day is coming up pretty quick, it was good to hear in talking with them that they have everything under control… they even had time for a fun bike ride and a little time together at Pratters Mill.  I know we are going to have a good time at this wedding, Paula and Heath are a lot of fun to hang with.  (wait til you see Paula’s bridal shots… wow.

The Trivett Hall in Dalton was the location for this very elegant event.  Crystal and Jamie with the help of the staff of the hall did a fantastic job of creating a warm inviting atmosphere for their wedding.  What a touching ceremony and reception.  Even our little walk to the Wink (a favorite memory for Crystal) for some additional photos was a good time for all.   Congratulations to Crystal and Jamie….

As I approached the driveway I kept thinking I had been here before… it looked familiar, but it was strangely different.  As I later found out, it was George’s house… I had been there a couple years before to design a home theatre.  Anywho, the Portrait session went great and we got some fantastic images for some pretty terrific folks.

Amber and Clayton… what can I say… Beautiful Church, Beautiful day, Beautiful couple…  First Baptist was the ceremony location then a quick ride in the horse and carriage to the reception at the 5 Points Museum in downtown Cleveland for deserts and dancing.  I wish this wonderful couple the happiest of marrages, they have a wonderful family and a great life in front of them.  Best wishes to Amber and Clayton.

A special hat’s off to this solder and his sweetheart.  Ruth and Jake had the most beautiful wedding at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Chattanooga.  I wish the best to this loving couple, and to their bright future together.

This was the message that was written on the chalk board in the Groom’s dressing room…  (He got it right.) What a grand occasion this couple had… from the Patton Chapel ceremony to the Walden Club reception… a great time was had by all, and what a fun Bride and Groom.  I also have to thank the Matron of Honor, simply a doll to work with.

This fun couple enjoyed a touching little ceremony at their church in Fort Oglethorpe.  We all had a good time, and we wish them the best for their new marriage.

Gwen and Justin are so in love, their closeness is evident in all that they did on their special day.  Rachael and I had a great time, and I love the way their pictures turned out.  I can’t wait to do the final edits for them, I know they are going to love them.

Let me start off with “I love my clients….”  This group, and especially Dawn and Ricky are sooooo much fun. I felt like a part of the family from the start.  The Dalton trade center was the location for both the wedding and the reception, and the Indian smudge ceremony was a sight to behold. (it is against their beliefs to have that segment photographed, so “I guess you should have been there” applies.)  This couple is so warm and sincere, and you talk about fun…. well I think this image sums it up.  Surrounded by friends, the center of attention… awesome people.

I went out into cleveland with a Photo-buddy last night, and we had a good time shooting around Lee Campus in Cleveland.  He had fun watching me run around in this shot fireing my flash at the trees etc…  but I love the results of this one.

Hehehe… (couldn’t resist.) RoadRash Mag.com has been after me to shoot for their cover for several months, I finally got it done.  The April edition will be on the stands any day now or you can see the whole shoot at www.roadrashmag.com  Click on photos then April edition.I had a model all set for the shoot, the bike coming up from Georgia, and an assistant bringing lighting from Chattanooga.  I woke up to find out that my model had canceled.  I flew into disaster avoidance mode, and called into my network of models, and April J stepped up and saved the day.  Thank you Miss April!
